Meet Amanda — Seminar Leader for Real Life

Amanda Mortenson

My Story

I'm Amanda, a Marriage & Family Therapy graduate student, wife, and mom to four kids who knows firsthand what it feels like to be busy, burnt out, and quietly disconnected from the person you love most. Through my own journey of healing and reconnection, I discovered that strong marriages don't happen by accident—they happen on purpose.

Now I help couples cut through the noise of everyday life and find their way back to each other through research-backed tools, honest conversation, and a whole lot of heart. Because the best thing you can give your family is a great marriage.

My Philosophy

I believe strong marriages don't happen by accident—they happen on purpose. And the best thing you can give your family is a great marriage.

That's why I take a practical, heart-first approach through Building Lasting Connections seminars—combining research-backed tools, honest conversation, and real-life strategies that help couples cut through the noise and find their way back to each other.

Who I Serve

I work with couples, parents, women's groups, and communities who want sustainable change: calmer homes, deeper connection, and practical skills that work in real life.
